Detailed Itinerary – 4 Days Zanzibar Holiday

Day 1: Arrival in Zanzibar – Stone Town Tour

Upon your arrival at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport or from the ferry terminal, you’ll be greeted by your driver and transferred to your hotel for check-in.
In the afternoon, begin your exploration with a guided Stone Town walking tour. Wander through narrow streets filled with Arabic-style architecture, lively bazaars, and historic landmarks.

Day 2: Prison Island & Spice Tour

After breakfast, board a traditional dhow for a short boat ride to Prison Island (Changuu Island). This historic island was once a quarantine center but is now home to giant Aldabra tortoises, some over a century old. You’ll have time to swim, snorkel, and relax on the beach.

Return to Stone Town for lunch, then continue to Zanzibar’s lush spice farms for a guided Spice Tour. Discover how the island’s spices — cloves, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, and cardamom — are grown and harvested.
